Thank you for auditioning for the worship team! We are so excited to be a part of your journey in discovering where God is calling you to serve in His house and we are looking forward to worshipping Him together! Below is some information to come to the audition prepared with along with some questions you will be asked to share.
Please be prepared to share who you are, how long you've been attending City Campus, and what skill you're looking to share.
If you are trying out for vocals, please come prepared to sing the song “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake. We will audition every singer on melody as well as harmony.
If you play an instrument please come prepared to play the song ‘gratitude’ by Brandon Lake, live version. Keys and drums will be available for use, but if you are trying out for guitar please bring your own!
If people trying out have in-ear monitors please bring them as they are essential to how we play together each weekend. If you do not own a pair, we will have a loaner pair available for use day of.
Information to note:
We play with a click track and guide every weekend, familiarity or comfortability with these is a must!
New worship team members will be asked to attend a welcome lunch, as well as observe 1-2 weekend rehearsals before serving on the weekend, this is how we can best help people learn the culture and heart of WHY and HOW we serve.
