YOU’RE INVITED! 

Join us at River Valley Church - Woodbury campus at 8 a.m. for instruction on map reading, orienteering, and navigation techniques from three current / former members of the U.S. Army (donuts and coffee will be provided).

Following 1-1 1/2 hours of classroom instruction, those interested will travel to Lake Elmo Park Reserve for a practical exercise in orienteering, followed by roughly a half-hour group discussion on lessons learned and applications to daily life. Maps and compasses will be provided. Entry into the Lake Elmo Park Reserve requires a Washington County Park pass. Day passes will be available for $7 per vehicle; annual passes are $30. Carpooling from the church is highly encouraged.
